I’d like to say that some god out there had a plan for me. But that would be a comforting lie. Every single one of us is completely alone. The sooner we figure that out the sadder we’ll be—but at least we’ll be honest.
Kensington is an interesting neighborhood in Philadelphia for a variety of reasons, some good and some bad. While the bad tends to outweigh the good, I happen to love my journeys to Kenzo because I’ll see some awesome graffiti art.
This is at the intersection of Cumberland and Water Streets right before Cumberland meets Kensington Avenue, and it is a tribute to the hilarious cartoon, Adventure Time. This is visible from the Market-Frankford EL headed west, but it’s much more awesome at street level.
This is a hidden gem of art in a neighborhood of the city many choose to forget about.
